Jarrod Guth, a guitar teacher from Topeka, Ks, has always been underrated for his playing ability. “My rugged good looks have always come between me being accepted as a credible guitar player, and me just being a really good art piece sculpted by the hands of Father Time.” Jarrod has been heard saying. His playing style borders on the mundane, but with that mundane flair that could only be heard in an average playing situation. “I’ve never been one to give out credit to people that have influenced me, so you will never really know who my influences are or even the people that have gotten me to where I am today. Lets face it, they wouldn’t have done it without me anyway.” Jarrod’s modest personality has garnished him with praises from people who are equally as humble, such as Kayne West, Donald Trump, and Kobe Bryant. Many people have been quoted as saying that Jarrod himself is more addictive then a heroin laced cigarette on a crack sandwich, but when asked about his music most people didn’t even realize he played an instrument. “I think I have a way with people, not because I like people, but because I understand them. I know how people talk and think, and I know how people walk; its with their legs by the way.” Whether it be playing guitar, living on the edge, being rustic, or planting the seeds of our future, its easy to see that Jarrod is one thing; a person, just trying to be human.
Sincerely,
