Hello there,

It’s about time I updated my site a bit with some new news.  I wanted to let everyone know that I am really starting to hit the music pretty hard.  Since I have started with my new band, Monk’s Wine, I have been working hard at writing and getting my chops up.  I do not want to look like a fool with these guys.  There are some very talented players in Monk’s Wine, and I would hate to look like a hack.  We are getting ready to start playing out here real soon.  I will be posting dates shortly to let everyone know when they are.  I will also be playing some solo shows as well as getting back with Garin Nolan and Ryan Dooley for some fun summer shows.  This summer is starting to look pretty fun with all these performances coming up. 

Make sure you look around at some of the videos and songs I have added to my site.  Let me know what you think of everything here.  My friend Chris Higgins has been fantastic in helping me get the site up.  I say helping, but I really haven’t done too much.  Make sure you check him out on his own website, http://www.chrishiggins.net.  I suggest you listen to his Christmas song.

Well its been a bit since I have posted, but I wanted to update everyone on some new events. Check out the Live Music Institute on November 14th to see yours truly back on the stage. I have been working hard on getting some new songs as well as a longer set. My new songs have been coming along rather well, and I think they will be well received.

Not too long ago I started working with a very talented artist named Heather Downing. She has an amazing voice and a natural gift for writing music. We sat down and in one night came up with one of the proudest moments of my musical life. We wrote a song together called Candle. It will be on her upcoming album titled “Element Aria.” I will keep everyone posted on the date of the release. Make sure you keep an eye out for her, I think the album is going to do great.

I wanted to thank everyone on their positive feedback on the site. My good friend Chris Higgins has done a wonderful job, and continues to do great things for the site. Make sure you e-mail me and let me know what you think if you haven’t already.

As many of you know July 4Th is approaching. I have a show on the 3rd of July as well as the 4Th. Both are with the new band, Donny’s Element. The 3rd is at the Classic Bean and is a public show. Unfortunately the show on the 4Th is private. It will be held at a secret location, and the whole event is shrouded in mystery. I am really looking forward to it.

Welcome to the new website. I am finally growing from an amoeba stage to full blown invertebrate. With the help of friend, and former band mate Chris Higgins, I will have a new website chalk full of fun and fantastic-ness for you the people. This website will be dedicated to my current job as a music educator and to inform everyone of shows and events. I can’t wait to get things rolling.
